What we store
- Account: email, display name, password hash (argon2id).
- A complete credits ledger: every purchase, buy-in, prize, refund and withdrawal.
- Every debate exchange, verbatim — your messages, the AI's replies, and the automated judge's verdicts. This is the fairness and anti-cheat record: prize payouts are decided and disputed from it.
What we do with it
Debate records are processed by our AI provider (Microsoft Azure AI) to run the game and are reviewed when cheating is suspected or a payout is disputed. We send transactional email only (e.g. "your challenge is live", "you won"). We do not sell data or run third-party advertising or analytics.
Retention & deletion
You can delete your account from the My debates page. Deletion anonymizes your account immediately (email, name and login are destroyed). Ledger entries and debate transcripts are retained in anonymized form because they are the integrity record of completed prize competitions, kept for up to 6 years in line with financial record-keeping norms.
Cookies
One first-party session cookie (cmm_session) to keep you logged in. Nothing else.
